In addition to its two comprehensive high schools, Los Altos High School and Mountain View High School, MVLA is home to several innovative education programs including an alternative high school and an adult education center.
The Challenge
Mountain View Los Altos High School District (MVLA) had been using a legacy system for classroom screen sharing that was causing frustration for teachers and a significant number of help desk tickets which taxed the IT support staff. Bob Fishtrom, MVLA鈥檚 director of information technology went in search of an alternative system that would provide teachers with the flexibility and functionality to teach from anywhere in the classroom and promote more active student engagement. He also wanted to avoid the technical problems and unreliability of the previous system.
The Solution
With 黑料社, Fishtrom found a solution for all their classrooms. Said Fishtrom, 鈥満诹仙 can really help make everything come alive.鈥 Not only did 黑料社 meet the classroom needs of teachers and students, but it also met Fishtrom鈥檚 core belief that any tool used in the district works with existing services and is easy to use.
